The journey

Hi, this is Lakshmi Jangid

Lakshmi is an Arts graduate student from Churu. Her father works in a furniture factory — the sole earner. Nobody around her had connected "Arts stream" with "technology career."

She started coding on her father's phone through CodeYogi. While classmates dismissed the program as meant for Science students, she kept at it — eventually emerging among the top coding students in her district.

The district administration recognized her and awarded her a laptop. She has built a portfolio website, a weather app, a medicine-finder app, and a to-do app using React and TailwindCSS.

She has also qualified for the IIT Madras Online BS Degree and now continues building her skills with the goal of becoming an AI engineer.
