The journey

Another road to the same place

Gaurav grew up in a village in Pithoragarh district where basic needs are often in short supply. School was 10 km away, and he made that journey every day. At home, everything depended on one small grocery shop that brought in barely ₹1 lakh a year.

He always wanted to study engineering. The money wasn't there, so he trained as a mechanic at ITI Pithoragarh instead. The wish didn't go away.

When he joined CodeYogi, he had no laptop of his own, so he borrowed one from a relative. He finished the course and received his first offer letter as a web developer.

Today Gaurav works full-time at Devs Lane. He didn't take the road he had planned. He found another one that led to the same place: a career in software.
